Orian Adds Two to Sales Team

Machine woven area rug manufacturer Orian Rugs recently added two new hires to its sales management team.

Jim Howell joins Orian as sales manager for the Studio division, which comprises rugs targeting carpet and rug specialty retailers. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for Carpet Art Deco, and prior to that was vice president of United Weavers' area rug division.

Bill Horlacher has been appointed national sales manager. He was formerly national sales manager for the decorative fabrics division of Burlington House. Prior to that, he was sales manager for Tultex.

Both Howell and Horlacher report to Don Newton, senior vice president, sales and marketing.

“With over 40 years of combined experience in the area rug market, Jim and Bill will be strong contributors to Orian's aggressive growth plans,” Newton said.
