Indo Count Industries Ltd., a yarn manufacturer and exporter, has undertaken a $50 million project to manufacture bed linen in western India.

The company plans to install wider-width weaving machines and a state-of-the-art continuous processing plant with a capacity to process 36 million meters per year. The project also includes a stitching unit with 300 machines to stitch 8,000 sheet sets per day.

The plant is expected to commence production by May 2006 in Kolhapur (western India).
