Indo Count Embarks on Bed Linen Project

Mumbai, India —
Indo Count Industries Ltd., a yarn manufacturer and exporter, has undertaken a $50 million project to manufacture bed linen in western India.
The company plans to install wider-width weaving machines and a state-of-the-art continuous processing plant with a capacity to process 36 million meters per year. The project also includes a stitching unit with 300 machines to stitch 8,000 sheet sets per day.
The plant is expected to commence production by May 2006 in Kolhapur (western India).
