Greensboro, N.C. -- The International Oeko-Tex Association, in partnership with diversified cellulose fiber producer Lenzing Fibers, will present a seminar, “Authentic Green,” at the Los Angeles International Textile Show, to be held at the California Market Center next Monday, April 14 at 1 p.m.
“People who exhibit at and attend The Los Angeles International Textile Show are cutting-edge innovators in the textile industry,” said Dina Dunn, who will be speaking for Oeko-Tex at the seminar.
Oeko-Tex, a Zurich, Switzerland-based group of 14 independent textiles research and testing institutes, provides the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 global certification program to guarantee that textiles products are free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances.
The Authentic Green presentation will include an overview of consumer attitudes and growing concerns about textiles ecology, as well as the role independent textiles certification can play in the textiles industry’s sustainability strategy.
We would love your feedback!
