Sears Holdings Names Financial Chief

Sears Holdings Corporation, parent of the Sears and Kmart chains, has hired Michael Collins as svp and cfo.

He will succeed Miles Reidy as cfo prior to the end of the fiscal year. In the interim, Reidy will work with Collins to enact an orderly transition, the company said.

Collins was most recently svp of planning and analysis at the NBC Universal division of General Electric Corp. He held a variety of finance positions at GE over the past 18 years.
