Sam Salem & Son to produce Harve Benard textiles

New York – Sam Salem & Son will expand the scope of its business under a recent licensing agreement to produce Harve Benard branded bedding and bath.
The home textiles sourcing, manufacturing and close-out firm will show preliminary design boards during New York market (Aug. 6-10) in its showroom at 10 W. 33rd St.
The program will launch with sheets and top-of-bed. Solid color towels will be the first product for the bath area, followed by bath rugs, according to Richard Eidler, vp of sales and new product development.
This will be Sam Salem & Son’s first licensing program. Eidler noted that the market has evolved and said the company sees Harve Benard as an opportunity “to grow with existing customers and pick up some new ones.”
Two or three years ago, my Wife purchased a 'Full Sheet Set', 250-thread count, 100% cotton, 'Made in the USA', the flat sheet specified as 81"x96". She opened the packet today and found the flat sheet is 72"x96", it is 65% polyester and is made in Pakistan. It evidently does not fit our standard 4'6"-wide double bed. The local distributor declines to give us satisfaction. Can you help?

Sam S, & Sons seem to be running a biz that is right out of Alice In
Textileland. I bought a queen size set, choosing it specifically because
the package said "MADE IN USA." Once I opened the package,
however, I found that the tags on the individual pieces said "MADE IN
CHINA." And - I also found, as did a previous poster to this site, that
while the fitted sheet was the correct size, the flat sheet was too small,
absolutely not queen size. I called Sam Salem and Sons at (212) 695-
6020 and spoke to a Mr. Sutton who eventually sent me a replacement
set of much more luxurious sheets than I had purchased, but there was
only two problems - although the package promised four pieces, the
pillow cases were missing! What fun!
