Decosit Hong Kong to launch in March

GHENT, Belgium –Thirty-nine decorative fabrics companies have signed on to participate in the first edition of Decosit HKG, a new fabrics and furnishings show sponsored by Textirama, which produces Decosit and Deco Contract in Brussels, Belgium each September. The Asian exhibition will debut at the Hong Kong Convention Centre from March 21 to March 23, 2006.

The exhibitor base will be limited to those at the Brussels show; visitors will be on an invitation-only basis. Up to 70 exhibitors will be featured, depending on the size of the stands reserved, said Peter Dewaele, commercial manager for the event at Textirama. Stand sizes are 16, 24 and 40 square meters.

American exhibitors that have signed on to date include Rockland Mills, and Tietex. The U.S. Department of Commerce is scheduled to have a business center.
