Golf for good
By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 9/15/2003 12:00:00 AM
There was fair weather on the fairway as the Midwest Textiles Association kicked off its 14th annual charity golf tournament last week in Dublin, OH.
This year, the MTA raised money to fund a scholarship for the 15-year-old son of Joel Gentry, a 30-year employee of Ostrow Company, who passed away. Additional beneficiaries this year are The American Heart Association in memory of Paul D'huyvetter and Bobby Lorberbaum, veterans of the industry who passed away this year. A donation also will be made to The Moyer Foundation, a Seattle-based organization in the memory of Roy Clothier, ceo of Pacific Coast Feather, who passed away in May.
We would love your feedback!
