Albany, N.Y. —
Diversified manufacturer Albany International, which among other product lines makes the PrimaLoft brand down alternative fill, will discontinue operations at its forming fabric plant in Montgomery, Ala., a result of "the continuing consolidation of customers in the U.S. and Canada," the company said.
The closure will affect 90 salaried and hourly employees. Albany International employs some 6,000 workers worldwide.
