Kennedy to succeed Hakim as MMPI chief

CHICAGO -Christopher Kennedy has been named president of Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. (MMPI).
Kennedy, formerly executive vp, succeeds Joseph Hakim, who has been appointed coo of Vornado Realty Trust, parent company of MMPI. Hakim had been MMPI's president since 1991.
Kennedy has been with the company since 1987. He will oversee all the company's activities and operations including trade show management and real estate management from Los Angeles to High Point, NC. Since 1994, he has been instrumental in expanding the trade show division of MMPI.
