Ellery taps Schultz as vp

NEW YORK —

Ellery Homestyles announced last week that Marilyn Schultz is joining the company as the new vp of product development and design.

Shultz, who has over 30 years of design and retail experience, formerly worked as the bath and flooring buyer for Kmart Corp. She had also handled hard and soft window coverings for the discount retailer. Prior to that, she also spent time with Builders Square, a Kmart subsidiary, and with Montgomery Ward.

Her new responsibilities include looking for new ideas and concepts, bringing the design group's ideas together and working simultaneously to bring a coordinated effort to the forefront, and also product development of all the products throughout the company.

Shultz is working out of the company's offices here as well as in Pine Bluff, NC.
