Designtex adds two execs

Karen Kops and Richard Morrow have joined Designtex Group.

Kops has been named new product development manager, overseeing the Unique Solutions business as well as manage product strategy and development for the Lumicor brand. She rejoins the company from Knoll.

Morrow has been named senior designer. He had been at Maharam where he held a senior design position.

Glabman-Himes moves showroom

Glabman-Himes will move its showroom to 333 South Wrenn St., High Point, NC, in time for Showtime next month.

The Winston Salem, NC-based sales and marketing agency will occupy the two-level freestanding space that formerly housed Mastercraft and Home Fabrics. Glabman-Himes has been showing in the International Home Furnishings Center here.

The new space will be about 60 percent larger than the current showroom/office, said Jack Glabman, one of the principals. The company represents Blumenthal Print Works and Microfibres upholstery division.
