Balta expands DC

Dalton, GA — Balta USA Inc. recently completed a 40,000-square-foot expansion to its distribution center here at its headquarters, Pat Moyer, president, told HTT. The DC now encompasses 200,000 square feet total.

The American-based branch of its Belgium parent company The Balta Group has updated its DC to be fully integrated, computer-driven and state of the art.

In other company news, Balta USA will introduce its new Tradewinds Collection — an expansion to its heat-set polypropylene collections — to debut in July at the Atlanta International Area Rug show.

Tradewinds features transitional, contemporary and botanical designs in 12 new patterns offered in various sizes. A 5' x 8' is set to retail for between $149 and $199.
