Duckwall taps Beaith for top IT post

Abilene, Kan. – Rural general merchandiser Duckwall-ALCO Stores has named Ted Beaith svp and chief information officer, reporting to president and ceo Larry Zigerelli.

Beaith comes to the 258-store chain with more than 20 years of information technology experience, including posts with retailers Shoppers Drug Mart, Brookshire Brothers and Southwest Supermarkets. He most recently was senior retail practice manager for international consulting firm CapGemini USA.
