Bianca USA to Distribute Cath Kidston Home

New York — Towel producer Bianca USA has acquired exclusive distribution rights in the United States for the British brand Cath Kidston Home Collection.

Bianca USA will target independent retailers and select department stores with Cath Kidston bedding and bath collections.

The company is the U.S. division of Mundotextil S.A, a Portugal-based towel manufacturer that specializes in jacquard, solid, embroidered and specialty fiber towels.

Cath Kidston is a U.K.-based designer known for mixing whimsical, classic and nostalgic looks for a style with a modern edge. Inspired by vintage fabrics, the company has developed a large range of products such as wallpaper and fabric, wool carpets, cushions, china, furniture paint, gift wrap, bags, t-shirts, sleepwear, infant clothing and stationery.

There are five Cath Kidston shops in London plus concession stands in Harrods and Selfridges department stores. The brand is also known in Japan, which has 30 stores that sell the products.

In addition, a 2,000-square-foot Cath Kidston outlet recently opened in New York's NoLita shopping district north of Little Italy.

Wallpaper and fabric are distributed through Designers Guild, while wool carpets are handled by Ulster Carpets.
