Global Direct signs up sourcers

NORTHBROOK, IL —

Barely two months after its founding, Global Direct, the sourcing consultancy founded by former Revere Mills ceo Justin Gideon, has already lined up off-shore suppliers and is currently working to expand its client base of importers and retailers, the company said.

Gideon earlier resigned from Revere following many years with the firm. He's lined up sourcing so far from, among others, companies located in China, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Mexico and Turkey, Gideon said.

He added that the company's mission will be to serve the demand for direct imports, particularly in bath, bedding, kitchen, beach and Christmas product lines.
