GTT International has Fun with Freckles

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/13/2007 12:00:00 AM

Bedding supplier GTT International has acquired the license for Freckles, and is showing initial patterns and prototypes in their showroom at 230 Fifth Avenue during market week.

Mindy Moss, Freckles brand manager for GTT International, said, "Freckles is designed in Australia, and has a full range of products with irresistible colors, unique appliqués, and impressive designs for both boys and girls."

"The line not only includes unique bedding, but coordinating accessories such as lampshades, rugs, decorative pillows and curtains," Moss added.

Mohammed Arshad, president of GTT International, said, "We will be combining our proven expertise in production and logistics with the unique design capabilities of the Freckles team in order to bring a high quality product at a great price to the market."

Also at this market, GTT International plans to introduce new patterns in the successful Four Seasons bed ensemble configuration, as well in the Room-in-a-Bag classification.

"The strategy behind the Four Seasons bed ensemble is to give the customer options," said national sales and marketing manager Bill Spencer. A Four Seasons bed ensemble has 10 total pieces — a comforter, two reversible standard shams, two reversible euro shams, a bed skirt, three reversible decorative pillows, and a reversible coverlet.

The packaging, according to Spencer, "uses four photos of the bed, set up for each season of the year. So, the customer will understand she can have four different looks… all in one bag. It is a great idea!"

GTT International has been offering high quality Room in a Bags for over four years. Spencer explained, "Room in a Bag includes everything a customer needs for her room — such as comforter, standard shams, euro shams, bed skirt, a sheet set, window treatments, and decorative pillows."
