Mohawk Opens New Facilities

Calhoun, Ga. —
Mohawk Industries has completed the expansion of its manufacturing and distribution campus in northwest Georgia with the opening of two large-scale facilities.
These facilities serve Mohawk Home and Mohawk's hard surfaces division with 1.1 million square feet of additional manufacturing and distribution space.
This particular investment will create process efficiencies in finishing, warehousing and distribution — including reduced response times and improved scalability in warehousing and distribution — using the latest technologies, the company stated.
