Istanbul, Turkey —
The Turkish Embassy's Office of the Commercial Counselor will host a Buyers' Mission Program here May 19–23, ahead of the 15th annual Evteks Home Textiles Exhibition, May 20–24.
The Buyers' Mission Program consists of briefings, interviews with companies, visits to exhibitions and production facilities, and a city tour.
Accommodation expenses for qualifying representatives of the U.S. import companies will be covered by the program budget. The program is open to large scale importers (especially retail companies) that have little and/or no experience in the Turkish market. Companies that already have a representative office in Turkey do not qualify. The person making the trip must be a decision-maker for their company's international purchasing.
