Victor Group Appoints Two

Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada — Residential and contract furniture fabric supplier Victor Group has appointed John Seymour account manager, and Steve Schroeder international sales manager. They will report to Jean-Francois Gagnon, sales director for Victor.

Both spent a significant amount of their careers with Quaker Fabric of Fall River, Mass., which was acquired last year by Victor. With that acquisition, Victor Group became one of the largest producers of upholstery fabric in the world. Among its product lines are Eco Intelligent Polyester fabrics, which are certified Cradle to Cradle Gold by MBDC.

Seymour will be part of the management team overseeing the residential textiles sales unit. He has more than three decades experience, including 12 years at Quaker, where he was Southeast sales manager and manager of national accounts.

Schroeder will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing new members of Victor's international sales team. He worked 15 years in sales management roles with Quaker Fabric, most recently serving as director of international sales.
