CMI names two execs to managerial staff

PAWTUCKET, RI —

Braided rug manufacturer CMI has appointed two executives to its managerial staff.

Cheryl Spencer is the company's new human resources manager, and Errol Noel is the new IT manager. Both report directly to Donald Scarlata, president and ceo.

Spencer previously worked in several senior level human resources an accounting posts at The Koffler Group, ESI Holdings and Citizens Bank, all based in Providence, RI. In her new position, she will be responsible for employee relations, payroll, employee benefits, state funded grants, training, safety management and other issues.

Noel previously worked for Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Services in Providence as its systems engineer and project manager. Prior to that he was coo at Prime Powder Coating Inc. In his new post, he will be responsible for company systems, networks and communications systems.
