Anchor Home gets foothold on textured solid looks

-- Home Textiles Today, 3/9/2010 2:29:00 PM

At the New York Market – Anchor Home Products is turning to its newest textured solid collection, Crossroads, this market.

The collection’s fabric depicts a small diamond all-over pattern. Available colors are blue, green, yellow and red. Components include table linens, kitchen textiles and the company’s proprietary “Versa-Ties” top tier window treatments.

“This market there is no one theme, like roosters or chefs. It’s about textures and color, and what looks work with granite countertops in today’s kitchens,” said Frank Petronzio, owner and president.

But the company did offer some new more fashion-inclined looks in other segments. To its Versa-Ties program, Anchor introduced a toile, a new floral called Amy that marries to a solid textured look titled Starlight, an applique-inspired look called Joanna, and others.

Also new for the company is a juvenile program it calls Jack & Jill, which comprises two Vera-Tie tiers for children – a pink for girls and a blue for boys.
