New York — Pacific Coast Feather has introduced a new down alternative fiber called Trillium that is adjustable for additional support with a silky feel.
It is being offered in three styles of pillow: a patented Excel construction, a basic pillow with a 300-count cover and another featuring a two-inch gusset.
New compact packaging has been developed for featherbeds where the items are compacted and banded for a more streamlined presentation on the shelf. The item now takes up 40 percent less space and still allows consumers to feel the merchandise. A comfort clasp has been added at the top.
The company also developed packaging and point-of-sale displays for its higher-end pillows in twin packs. Pillows being packaged this way are the Classic, Down Around and Cuddle Soft.
There is also a new stackable pack with a hard bottom insert for Sealy foam products that holds two pillows or a mattress pad.
In Dockers Home, the company is differentiating its packaging of natural versus synthetic-filled products by calling out the logo and adding a fabric band that features the logo in khaki and navy to the natural goods for breath-ability. Synthetic goods come in a light blue and navy package with a wire trim.
We would love your feedback!
