DALTON, GA. —
Shaw Living is creating a permanent staff of sales representatives to service its bath and scatter rugs and top-of-bed categories — all businesses the company picked up through its acquisition of Georgia Tufters, said Jeff Meadows, division vice president. "We're moving away from independent agents," he said. "We feel that like this, we'll have a better controls."
Meadows would not specify how many new sales posts the company is looking to fill, only to say it would be "a considerable amount."
The company is also planning to create a new vice president of sales post for its area rug business, he said.
We would love your feedback!
