New York — —
New York — The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) recently named Anne Appel chairperson of its Home Products Development Department, filling the void left in May when Christine Pratt retired.
Appel was previously with Federated Department Stores, where she spent the past eight years as senior product manager for home textiles.
Over the past five years she had been actively mentoring and recruiting for FIT's Home Products Development Department. Looking to make a change in her career, she left Federated in October 2004 and then last semester taught two classes part time at FIT.
We would love your feedback!
