Factory 2-U brings back retired merch. evp

SAN DIEGO —

Factory 2-U Stores has welcomed back Mary McNabb, who returned to the company as executive vp of merchandising last week.

"We are delighted that Mary, formerly executive vp of merchandising and marketing for Factory 2-U Stores, has agreed to come out of retirement and return to the company and accept the currently vacated position," said Mike Searles, president and ceo, and to whom McNabb reports.

(A search is currently underway for a new ceo, Searles is scheduled to step down once a replacement is found.)

Before retiring in Aug. 2001, McNabb worked at the company for 11 years.

Factory 2-U operates 257 offprice retail stores, selling apparel and selected domestics and household merchandise.
