Creative Home Furnishings hires Cajvan-Bernadi

Central Islip, N.Y. – The Creative Home Furnishings division of Creative Bath Products has named Michaela Cajvan-Bernadi design director, with a special initial focus on the Dakotah bedding and decorative pillow collection.
Cajvan-Bernadi has a range of experience that includes designing for Izaac Mizrahi’s bedding for Target Stores, bedding design for W-C Designs, development projects for the department store division of WestPoint Stevens, and styling for Echo Design Group.
Her first work at Creative will be to help design products to be unveiled at the February 2007 market. The new line will encompass classical, traditional with a touch of trend. Creative Bath Products director of sales and marketing Bob Weiss said the company will showcase duvet and comforter sets with decorative pillows and throws for several channels of distribution.
Cajvan-Bernadi will work with Lisa Granger, who became sales and marketing manager of Creative Home Furnishings in August. Both report to Weiss.
