Vegas market filling up

LAS VEGAS — Two of the three venues for July’s Las Vegas Market are now fully leased, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is nearly 90 percent full.

World Market Center officials have hired an additional three leasing managers and two administrative support members to flesh out permanent leasing for Buildings B and C, along with the temporary venues. Las Vegas Market will hold its first market from July 25-29.

In all, 1,000 permanent tenants and temporary exhibitors will be showing at the inaugural event, covering furniture, decorative accessories, lighting, bedding, area rugs, and related segments, as well as a Design Center open year-round to the trade.
