Karen Neuburger/KN Ltd. hires vp brand licensing

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Michael Penn has joined Karen Neuburger/KN Ltd.'s executive team as vice president of brand licensing. He will oversee all licensing relationships for the entire line of KN Ltd. products, as well as identify and secure new licensing agreements to grow the brand as an internationally recognized name.

Prior to joining KN Ltd., Penn worked for Levi Strauss and Co., where he was responsible for the wholesale licensing businesses. While at Levi Strauss, he developed the master licensing strategy for the introduction of 10 new product categories and managed all facets of the product distribution from design through placement in retail outlets. He also has experience conducting market, channel and consumer research and has developed annual sales plans that include tactical promotions and retail activities.
