Atlanta — —
Atlanta —Under their respective licenses with the Wools of New Zealand (WONZ) brand, both Capel and Karastan will show new collections of area rugs at the International Area Rug Market here in mid January.
Capel, based in Troy, N.C., will add eight new rugs donning the WONZ brand to some of its most popular collections, including the hand-knotted Tibetan Treasures, the hand-tufted and hand-spun Vente, the Persian-inspired hand-knotted Babylon, and the Tibetan-style Stoneridge.
Sugar Valley, Ga.-based Karastan's new WONZ rug collection, the Axminster Peshawar-inspired Shapura, comes in the Athena, Tiana and Tiana Ivory styles. Athena has a weathered brick coloration with chalky accents of blue and green; Tiana features a gentle pattern on a field of bottle green shading; and Tiana Ivory incorporates the same elegant lines, but on a subtle ivory ground.
Available sizes are 5-foot-9-inch-by-9, 8-foot-8-inch-by-10-foot and 8-foot-8-inch-by-12. The company also offers custom hand-seam multiple rugs to create over-sized styles.
We would love your feedback!
