"Randy's background is well suited to take QVC and iQVC to our next level of growth," said Briggs. "We look forward to the contributions he will make as we continue to build our award-winning Internet business and our core channel."

"For the past several years, I have admired and respected QVC as an outstanding retailer," Ronning said. "The opportunity to further expand QVC's growth and leading market position is very exciting to me."
Ronning's new position is a result of the reorganization of three different executive vice presidents' responsibilities, including those of John Link, who is retiring from his post as an executive vp and the cio.
