High Point, N.C. —
The followup to the sell-out Men of the Cloth 2006 calendar features a dozen women in the home furnishings industry transformed into glamorous headliners of eras past.
The 2007 Women of the Trade calendar will be launched during festivities at this week’s High Point Furniture Market, beginning with a gala party at Club Triangle here, according to Ray McKinnon, one of the organizers of the charity drive. As with the 2006 calendar, the 2007 edition will support area charities.
The launch party begins at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 with the calendar participants arriving by limousine at the Club Triangle. The calendars, priced at $20, will be on sale during the market as well as by e-mail at womenofthetrade@yahoo.com.
The goal for the 2007 calendar is $25,000; the 2006 edition raised $18,000.
