CMI promotes pair

Pawtucket, RI — Braided texture rug and accessory manufacturer CMI (Colonial Mills Inc.) recently promoted two staffers to help it keep pace with its growth.
Mary Jane Connell, who has spent more than 16 years of her career working for CMI, was promoted to vp of national sales from her most recent former post, sales manager. Lynne Scarlata, formerly a marketing administrator, has been promoted to marketing manager in charge of coordinating sales presentations and proposals, managing CMI's image audit and scheduling its media buys.
"Both Mary Jane and Lynne have been key players in the sales and marketing effort during this time of accelerated growth for our company," said Donald Scarlata, president and ceo.
