Tucker, Ga. —
International gift products company Mud Pie is launching a new collection of tabletop and gift items under the name, "Merci" — which translates to "Thank you" in French.
The collection features napkins as well as wood cutting board sets, trays, spreaders and bottle toppers.
There are 10 different designs created for the initial program. They include: Paisley, Damask, Fleur de Lis, Crown; Grape, Sailboat, Shell, Zebra, Tennis and Giraffe.
Each item comes packaged with grosgrain ribbon detail and a matching "To/From" hangtag. The pieces are priced to retail for $10 to $25 each.
The company also launched its 2009 holiday line, which includes monogrammed guest towels among its assortment of gifts and home décor items.
Decked in whimsical polka dot designs, the line blends traditional Christmas season themes with trendy design elements.
The company was also price conscious for its latest holiday program, concentrating prices in the $7 to $30 range.
The monogrammed guest towels come in 20 single letters — except Q, U, V, X, Y and Z — and are made of linen. They are priced at $7 each.
Christmas stockings are also monogrammed for this year — in the same 20 single letters. Made of cotton, these 18″-by-12″ pieces are set to retail for $17.
A Christmas tree shirt designed with pets in mind comes in three sizes — extra small, small and medium. Made of cotton, it is priced at $12.
Other items in the collection include monogrammed holiday paper coasters in sets of 12, a "JOY Y'all" metal bottle topper, a six-piece ceramic Santa tea set, ruffle sock leggings for newborn to six-month-old babies, and a Santa baby hooded onesie for newborn to six-month-old babies.
