Crestline Home Fashions Formed

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 7/9/2007 12:00:00 AM

Two home textiles industry veterans with 20 years of experience in sourcing product in China and distribution in the United States, Denise Matlack and Danny Liu, have teamed up to form a new venture: Crestline Home Fashions.

Crestline will be showing at 230 Fifth Avenue, with products on display from Sunday, Aug. 5 through Thursday, Aug. 9. Those planning to attend the market are encouraged to make an appointment by contacting Matlack at (310) 503-9805 or Liu at (646) 301-3680.

Crestline's initial product offering for the August market will center on eco-friendly collections as well as traditional and transitional bedding sets. The new company has a partnership with New Century, a mill in HangZhou, China.

Crestline has recruited Cindi Milrad for design direction and product development. Milrad is a former associate of Matlack's from their days at the now-defunct U.S. supplier Barth & Dreyfuss.

"Cindi brings a fresh approach to the fashion bedding market," Matlack enthused. "Her experience in textiles ranges from tabletop and kitchen textiles, to pet beds and pillows. Recently she has even worked on a ready-to-wear collection. Her ability to work fashion colors and trends into our product has proven to give us a keen edge."
