Juvenile products suppliers to get single show

BY Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/13/2007 10:49:00 AM

New York– The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) has reached a definitive agreement with the managers of the ABC Kids Expo that will enable the industry to have a single show beginning in the fall of 2008, which will be managed exclusively by ABC.

“The industry has made it clear that they want one annual trade show,” said Robert Waller, JPMA president. “We continue to work full steam ahead preparing a spectacular and successful 2007 International JPMA Show and we look forward to working with our members to get the most out of their trade show and other promotional opportunities in 2008 and beyond.”

The 2007 International JPMA Show will be held April 23-25 at the Orange County Convention Center , South Complex, in Orlando . JPMA expects a sell-out show.

“For years, our association has been almost singularly identified with the annual trade show when, in fact, the most important contributions we have made have been in the area of product safety and regulation,” noted Andy Keimach, JPMA chairman. “We look forward to reemphasizing our focus on the future growth of our association and all JPMA has to offer our members, consumers and the industry as a whole.”
