Louisville, Ky. —
Louisville Bedding, manufacturer of the trademarked FireDefender two-piece flame resistant mattress and foundation cover introduced earlier this year, is supporting National Fire Prevention Month – October – with free point-of-sale materials for retailers.
Retailers can visit the Press Room section of firedefendersystem.com to download and print out four-color posters, mattress spec cards, and counter tent cards.
One set of materials promotes the benefits of new flame resistant mattresses, and one helps stores promote the new FireDefender product.
"This year has been a milestone year for the mattress industry, which has introduced new flame resistant mattresses that provide peace of mind to consumers," said Scott Walters, Louisville Bedding national merchandising manager. He noted, "National Fire Prevention Month is a tremendous opportunity to educate consumers on the technical advances made in mattress design and the resulting benefits to consumers and their families."
FireDefender is a two-piece mattress and foundation cover that, when properly put on a non-flame resistant mattress, provides additional time for people to safely escape a bedroom fire by providing up to 30 minutes before the covered mattress will flashover, similar to the protection available in the new flame resistant mattresses. It is designed for consumers who are interested in protecting mattresses they already own.
We would love your feedback!
