MATTHEWS, N.C.– David Alexander, Family Dollar’s president and chief operating officer, has resigned to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.
Late last month, FamilyDollar announced that Robert George would join the company as executive vice president, chief merchandising officer.
Today the company said Dorlisa Flur, senior vice president of strategy and business development, will assume executive management responsibility for real estate and facility management. Under the restructuring, all merchandising, supply chain and store operations heads will report to Howard Levine, chairman and CEO.
