Home Textiles Show award winners announced

At The New York Market — Arlitex Textile Industries of Israel won the Best of Show Award at the 22nd semi-annual New York Home Textiles Show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center here this week.
The award was one of a number presented to exhibitors by show organizer George Little Management.
Category winners were:
— Soft bath: Orim Co. (Japan) for a natural cotton baby towel, made from velvet yarn for softness;
— Hard bath: Taymor Inds. (USA) for a magnetic soap holder;
— Kitchen/table: Maison du Linge (USA) for a collection of tabletop accessories from original 18th-century designs, made in France;
— Soft home accessories: Casa dei Tesori (USA) for a handmade silk/acrylic macramé curtain, made in Greece;
— Hard home accessories: Prohansa Overseas (India) for handmade wood blinds from rattan and bamboo;
— Home apparel: Orunet (Japan) for a "Paws Only" organic cotton robe for dogs for home apparel;
— Bedding: Bedwear by Lee Wilder of The Lonsdale Group (Canada) for a decorative pillow sham.
