NEW YORK -The Fashion Institute of Technology Alumni Association will honor leaders in the fashion industry at its annual Alumni Star Salute on March 7.
The annual fundraiser dinner, held in the Delegates' Dining Room of the United Nations, recognizes successful alumni and industry supporters who have made significant contributions to the fashion and related industries.
The honorees to be presented the Alumni Star Salute Award are Peter Arnell, chairman and executive creative director of AG Worldwide, a marketing, advertising and design firm; Robert Villency, president and ceo, and Eric Villency, vp, both of Maurice Villency, a furniture retailer; and FIT alumni Niki Livas, senior vp of Zum Zum, a junior apparel company.
More than 350 industry executives, alumni and friends will gather to show their support at the dinner, which is sponsored by the FIT Alumni Association. The event benefits the FIT Scholarship and Educational Development Fund. Last year, more than $200,000 was raised in one evening.
There will be a reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing. The event is black tie and tickets are $300.
We would love your feedback!
