New York —
Blue Ridge Home Fashions has more than doubled its Irwindale, Calif., manufacturing and distribution center from 75,000 to 175,000 square feet. This marks the company's third expansion since 1994.
The new facility has 20 shipping bays compared with the previous order facility which had eight bays. Its manufacturing section houses state-of-the-art filling machines for down or down alternative products.
The expanded facility is designed to double Blue Ridge's production of bed pillows and comforters, enabling the company to better serve its growing customer base and have extra space to warehouse more merchandise for faster shipping.
