Pier 1 adds several vps

Pier 1 Imports has announced the promotions of seven executives to evp titles, and four others to svp posts.

Robert Arlauskas has been named evp of stores from his position of svp of stores, a position he has held since 1999.

Jay Jacobs has been promoted to evp of merchandising. He previously has served as svp of merchandising since 1995.

Rod Lawrence has been named evp of legal. He joined Pier 1 as vp of legal affairs in 1985 and was promoted to svp of legal affairs in 1992.

Phil Schneider has been appointed evp of marketing from his position of svp of marketing.

Cary Turner has been promoted to evp of finance and cfo. He was most recently svp of finance and cfo.

David Walker has been appointed evp of logistics. He became svp of logistics/allocations in 1999.

Mitch Weatherly has been promoted to evp of human resources. He was named svp of human resources in 1992.

Susan Barley has been promoted to svp of finance from her position as vp of finance.

Rick Blackwelder has been appointed svp of real estate. He has served as vp of real estate and development since 1994.

Robert Kling has been named svp of merchandising. He has served as vp of merchandising since 1999.

Andy Laudato has been promoted to svp of information systems from the position of vp of information systems.
