Ken Hicks Exits JCPenney

Plano, Texas -- Ken Hicks has resigned from his position as president and chief merchandising officer of JCPenney, effective July 6, to become ceo of the Foot Locker. While JCPenney searches for a successor, chairman and ceo Mike Ullman will oversee Hicks’ responsibilities. Hicks joined the company in 2002 as president and chief operating officer of stores and merchandise operations, after having served as president of Payless ShoeSource.
