New York— Veteran fabric designer David Crowder has joined Westgate by ADF as a design consultant.
Crowder has worked in the industry 20 years with companies including Valdese Weavers, Mastercraft Fabrics and Wesley Mancini at Home Fabrics.
Jack Cobb, president of Westgate by ADF, said Crowder will make frequent trips to China to focus on the company’s furniture fabric line.
“I’ll be working with Erica Youngleson, director of design, and the product development staff there to create exciting new fabric collections, and hopefully make a big impact,” said Crowder.
He added, “Jack and Erica have been key in helping David Li, the owner, build a good foundation and systems for the U.S. market. I think that because they have their own weaving facilities and cut-and-sew operations they are more vertical than some of the other opportunities out there might have been.”
We would love your feedback!
