REDMOND, WA —
Eddie Bauer has announced the appointment of Ronald Gaston as senior vp, cfo, reporting to Fabian Mansson, president and ceo. He succeeds cfo Al Chambard, who is retiring after 22 years of service at the company.
Gaston will oversee financial planning and control, accounting, loss prevention and internal controls.
Prior to joining Eddie Bauer, he served as evp and chief administration officer for Lane Bryant, a position that marked his second stint at the company.
His first was as cfo of the apparel group, which consisted of Limited Stores, Limited Express, Lerner, Lane Bryant and Henri Bendel divisions. He also held positions at Venator Group (now Foot Locker), Jo-Ann Stores, and Associated Dry Goods Company.
"Ron's past success makes him an ideal fit as we reposition the Eddie Bauer brand as the authority in outdoor-inspired apparel and home furnishing product," said Mansson.
