Minneapolis – Mass-with-class retailer Target, said comparative-store sales for the five-week period of Sunday, March 4 through Saturday, April 7 will be in the 11% to 13% range, based on actual sales for the first three weeks and its outlook for the remaining two weeks.
The $59.5 billion retailer will report actual sales for the period on Thursday, April 12.
For the March-April period combined, Target comps will likely be up 4% to 6%. The accentuated gains in March reflect this year’s earlier Easter holiday, to which shoppers have already begun responding.
