Sugar Valley, GA — Forbes has announced that Mohawk Industries made its Platinum 400 List of the country's best big companies.
Of the 16 "house hold" industry companies that made this list, Mohawk Industries was named the "Best of Breed", earning a 181 percent five-year stock price increase.
Mohawk Industries is the only home textiles company to make the list, for which the main criterion is revenue of more than $1 billion, as well as the best aggregate scores for both long- and short-term financial returns, plus other performance and valuation measures. Other household products companies on the list included Ralph Lauren Home, Clorox, Nike and Timberland.
