SUGAR VALLEY, GA —
Forbes magazine has announced that for the third consecutive year Mohawk Industries made its Platinum 400 List of the country's "best big companies."
Of the 16 companies in the "household products" category that made this list, Mohawk Industries was named the "Best of Breed," showing a 181 percent five-year stock price increase.
Mohawk Industries is the only home textiles company to make the list, for which the main criterion is revenue of more than $1 billion. Other measures include best aggregate scores for both long- and short-term financial returns, plus other performance and valuation standards.
Other household products companies on the list included Ralph Lauren Home, Clorox, Nike and Timberland.
