Kravet buys G.P. & J.

BETHPAGE, NY —
Kravet Fabrics has purchased G.P. & J. Baker Ltd. of Great Britain, a 115-year-old decorative fabric company with royal warrants.
Peter Hill, who has been running the Kravet operations in the United Kingdom, also will be running the Baker business, said Cary Kravet, president of Kravet, based here.
Kravet has been distributing the line in the United States, and "we will now get aggressive about its position in this country," said Kravet.
