NEW YORK —
Putting a new emphasis on its bath ensemble offerings with more upscale collections, Terrisol Corp. is currently converting its sixth-floor penthouse suite from offices into a contemporary showroom in time for a re-introduction of the bath ensemble line in October at the New York Home Textiles Market.
Eric Vergucht, coo and executive vp, told Home Textiles Today the renovated space — located here at Terrisol's existing offices at 254 Fifth Ave. — will house and display more than 24 skus of bath ensembles made by parent company Karsten in Brazil.
Among them will be Terrisol's newest collection, Suite — a 700-gram towel collection made of 100 percent wring-spun cotton that includes textured and viscose jacquards and solids in up to 12 colorways, ranging from light to dark jewel tones, and four designs.
"The Suite collection targets the better customers — the specialty and department stores — because we've made an effort to pay extra attention to detail in its fashion and quality," Vergucht said. "It's a very high-quality collection that is extra-absorbent, is pre-shrunk and features a lot of special details."
Price points are still under development, Vergucht said.
The four design styles are Bohemian Rhapsody, Femininity, Urban and Seasonal. Aside from bath, hand and tip towels, the collection also includes luxury 35' x 66' bath sheets.
We would love your feedback!
