ShopKo taps DePaul for sales post

GREEN BAY, Wis. — ShopKo has named Jim DePaul regional director of sales. DePaul has responsibility for the operations and profitability of 31 ShopKo stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan's upper peninsula, stated the company.

DePaul joined ShopKo in 1998 as a store manager and earlier was promoted to regional customer service supervisor and senior merchandise process manager. Prior to ShopKo, he worked for Circuit City in Richmond, Va., and Target Corporation in Minneapolis.

"Jim's retail experience, leadership and drive for results will be valuable as we focus on improving sales performance," said Larry Gentry, ShopKo vice president of store services.
